Wullems Constructie en Plaatwerken (Wullems Construction and Sheet Metal Works) was founded in 1960, starting its activities in a room of 15 x 7 metres. Since 1979, the dynamic, future-oriented company has been housed in a modern building in a central location on the Kanaalzone 2 industrial estate in Weert. Wullems fulfils all the wishes of its customers thanks to its solid expertise and a range of ultra-modern machines.

The focus is on details, quality and precision, both in individual and series production. Wullems has made a name for itself in its sector thanks to its professional approach, competitive prices and short delivery times.

In 1980, son Jan Wullems joined the workforce. Together, Piet and Jan worked on the future of the company.

The company grew rapidly, so a 30x20 metre hall was added. The workforce also grew to 10 people.

In 1986, son Jan Wullems took over the company from his father. And continued Piet’s work. They quickly switched to supplying light construction work and sheet metal work for equipment and machine construction.

The company grew steadily and it was invested in and built up further step by step. For instance, machines with the latest technologies were invested in and the premises next door were purchased.

In 2014, investments were made in a new 1000 m2 hall and the office/canteen was renovated into a modern building with a contemporary look.

In the meantime, the customer base has grown significantly, which also means the workforce has grown to 23 FTE.

In all these years, Wullems has made a name for itself as a supplier for machine and equipment construction.
